World Special Kids（WSK）は、病気・障がい・難病・医療的ケアを必要とするすべての子どもたち、そしてその家族・きょうだい・支援者のために、「とことん遊べる場」を国際規模で届けるイベントです。
World Special Kids (WSK) is an international event creating an "all-out playground" for every child with illness, disability, rare disease, or medical care needs — together with their families, siblings, and supporters.
2026年、初めて大阪で開催。同時開催の「ハミング・オアシス2026」とともに、医療・福祉・教育・エンタメの垣根を越えて、家族みんなが安心して過ごせる夏休みを実現します。
In 2026, WSK comes to Osaka for the very first time. Co-hosted with "Humming Oasis 2026," it brings together medical, welfare, education, and entertainment sectors — for a summer where every family feels at home.
遊びは、子どもの権利。重い病気でも、障がいがあっても、医療的ケアが必要でも──「あそび」は、すべての子どもに必要です。私たちはその権利を、夏のいちばん大きな場所で叶えます。

ヘルスケア領域で「Special Kids」と呼ぶとき、正式には CSHCN を指すのが一般的です。米国 Maternal and Child Health Bureau（MCHB）が策定し、米国小児科学会も採用している国際的な定義は次のとおりです。
In healthcare, "Special Kids" formally refers to CSHCN. The international definition, established by the U.S. Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and adopted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, reads:
Children with special health care needs are those who have or are at increased risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally.
① 慢性の身体・発達・行動・情緒的な状態（またはそのリスク）を有すること、かつ ② 一般の子どもを超える医療および関連サービスを必要とすること──この2つを満たす広い概念です。診断名ではなく「健康と生活への影響」で識別される設計になっています。
Two conditions: (1) a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition (or its risk), and (2) the need for health and related services beyond what children generally need. The definition is intentionally broad — based on impact, not diagnosis labels.
